Afya Pro Sports holiday camps are for children aged 8yrs+  and focus specifically on one sport for the entirety of the course- with kids delving into all aspects of the game from skills, to tactics, to match play. The sports on offer include:

  • Rugby
  • Netball
  • Cricket
  • Athletics
  • Hockey
  • Strength & Conditioning

The sports specific camps are perfect for children who are already playing sport perhaps at school and/ or with a local club and want to use the school holidays to improve their skills, endurance and understanding of the game. Emphasis is on ensuring sport is fun and helping children get the most out of their chosen focus, including team building exercises and break out sessions.

Due to AFYAs background in professional sport, attendees at our sports specific camps have the added benefit of coaching from existing and former professionals in their field. This includes British Lion Andy Titterrell who regularly guest coaches on our rugby courses and Scott Pearson, an expert in strength & conditioning who has worked with the British Cycling Squad and array of professional level sports people & teams.

James and Sophie thoroughly enjoyed both the netball and rugby camps last week- they seem to have been a massive success from the kids and parents that I have spoken to, so thank you. James is already talking about the next training day on 21st December! He’s never come home so animated from any sports holiday club!’ Emma- Parent

We know trying to juggle work and school holidays can be an unpredictable business, so we keep our booking system as flexible as possible! You can book in advance for the whole course, or one off days. We also accept all major childcare vouchers.
